Currently Several Kindle apps available from Amazon offer some similar functionality, but these are only available (at a cost) to American users. The apps on ereadplus.com are available to everyone free.
How do I get the free Kindle apps from your website onto my Kindle?

Just visit the website and they’re right there in your web browser.
I can use these on my pc’s browser, but how do I download them to my Kindle?

On your Kindle select Home -> Menu -> Experimental -> Launch Browser and then type in then “ereadplus.com” in the top Address Bar.
Of course you’ll need to be in a wireless area.
I’m developing these apps all the time, so any feedback is appreciated.
