Wattpad

From the Wattpad blog.  Congrats!  I was supposed to go into NYC today to scope out the Wattpad meet up for you, but the transportation mess here in New Jersey will prevent me from doing that.  Here’s the post:

When Ivan and I started Wattpad a few years ago, we were working in my basement, coding our mobile apps and website with the hope that readers and writers would see what what we could: that Wattpad was the best way to share and discover stories.

We are thrilled to say that today the 1 Millionth user has just agreed with us! Our team has been growing as well; from two people to the fifteen of us today; we are growing very fast and  improving Wattpad all the time and we can’t wait to show you what we’re working on next!

But first, a big shout out to every reader and writer who has joined Wattpad to read, comment, recommend or post their own stories. We could not be here without you.

In the next couple of weeks we’ll be making a major announcement so please check back in. But in the meantime, happy reading!
