Wow! I can’t really comprehend the number. Fictionwise has served up one trillion words. The only thing we can say is “Congratulations!!!” and let’s hope the next trillion takes half the time.
Since Fictionwise serves both DRM and non-DRM books, it would be interesting to know the breakdown between the two.
That’s pretty cool! I’ve been using Fictionwise to read ebooks on my trusty iPhone (1st generation) for a while now and I’ve been pretty happy with their service.

In a criticism of Obama’s stimulus plan, the Wall Street Journal helped people to understand the $1 trillion figure. My favorite bit would probably be this one: “Homo sapiens hadn’t evolved a trillion seconds ago: 31,546 years in the past, Neanderthals were still trying to make fire.”
