Interead, who makes the Cool-Er, has announced the Cool-Er Connect, a new WiFi and touchscreen enabled model for September. The new reader will feature a 6 inch e-ink screen and will be built by Netronix. It will be priced at under $249.
Along with this there will also be the Cool-Er Compact, which will also have a 6 inch screen but will be built around a smaller body. It will not have WiFi or a touchscreen. No price for this model has been announced.
BestTabletReview notes that Cool-Er’s previously announced 3G unit is absent from the lineup.
