Res is said to be 768×1024 (XGA) with a choice between 210x304x12mm (A4) and 158x240x12mm (A5) sizes and respective prices of $12,685 and $21,137—just for demo models, hopefully. Backlight. Backlight! BACKLIGHT! Where is the backlight?! What good is an ebook reader without backlight?!?!

Some illumination would indeed be nice, but it wouldn’t have to be a backlight. Perhaps a frontlight would work better with these displays from fujitsu. Or maybe even a small lamp that flips up.
