kindlebalt If you want to see what it’s like to shop for books on the Kindle, or change fonts, you should watch this video from the Baltimore Sun‘s Mike Himowitz.

Headline over the vid is “E-book reader needs a tweak: Slick but costly Kindle deserves praise, but page-turner controls are hard to use.” Himowitz says he might well spend the $400 if it weren’t so easy to turn the pages accidentally.

That little detail seems to be on the minds of a lot of reviewers these days even though the consensus is that the Kindle in most ways in user-friendly—well, aside from the DRM and the related eBabel hassles. Himowitz himself didn’t really explore those issues.
