I received an email about this guide entitled: Guide to Comparing Services that Indie Authors can Use to Publish eBooks to Apple’s iPad.
It’s a free PDF from Gravity Switch and their blurb says “… no other article goes into the level of depth and education that this guide does. … Topics include: Services, pricing & policies of Apple and Aggregators compared side-by-side, Recommendations for a handful of common scenarios, What indie authors should know about ISBNs, How, exactly, to submit directly to Apple, Terms defined so you don’t get lost in the mumbo jumbo ”
I haven’t had time to read it myself, but if anyone does take a look at it let us know whether its worthwhile.
A clearly written guide for beginners. A bit self-promotiony in parts, but it makes up for it with its colorful layout. 🙂
Concise and useful guide for begginers or self-publishing authors who want to be in ibookstore, but not for publishers.
What an incredibly useful document! Funny, I was in the process of gathering information about publishing channels for a client. Thanks to this document, my work is essentially done!
