Did you know that if you buy something from Amazon less than a week before they lower the price, you can get a refund of the difference? I found this out today, when Amazon dropped the price on the Robotech: The Complete Original Series DVD set from $39.49 to $32.99…four days after I’d ordered it at the old price.
But as it turns out, all I had to do was get in touch with Amazon via the “contact me” option on my account page, provide information about the order, and ask nicely, and I got my $6.50 refund.
Of course, most people probably won’t even notice if something they bought goes down in price right after they buy it—but for those times it does, this is useful to know.
