image TheGeorgetownDish has started up in Washington’s Georgetown neighborhood where so many of the media elite live, including Ben Bradlee and Sally Quinn of Washington Post fame. This is an e-book blog, not a D.C. journalism review, but the Dish is of special interest since it’s hoping to expand into other upscale areas near D.C., and out of town, including Palm Beach and the Hamptons, among others.

A hyperlocal newspaper war ahead?  Or might the Dish be bought out by the Washington Post (Bradlee’s son Quinn will appear in the Dish), Allbritton Communications or The Georgetowner—assuming one of them doesn’t own it already? The beta edition is well-done. Stay tuned; let’s see what happens.
