presleyHow do you feel about free music? Android Police notes that Google Play is giving away a number of its “Playlist” greatest hits compilations for free. The listed albums are largely older artists, such as Elvis Presley, Simon and Garfunkel, Sly and the Family Stone, Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson, but there’s some good stuff there for people who are interested.

You have to be logged into a Google account to snag them, of course, and the giveaway appears to be US-only, unfortunately. The albums are free to add to your Google Play library, but once they’re there, you can download them to your computer if you prefer using a non-cloud player. Free music is good music, right?
