Mediabistro’s eBookNewser reports that Google Books just updated its iPad app with new features, including landscape mode, a page-turning animation, and improved searching and buying. The app is reportedly faster, too.
Of course, whether the app will still be around after Apple’s 30% in-app purchase deadline June 30th is unclear.
