Review of the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2 (GoodeReader)
Amazon has just released the second generation Kindle Paperwhite 2 ereader and the big hyping factors about this unit is the software. The hardware remains the same from the first generation reader with the addition of e-Ink Carta display screen, which gives a higher degree of contrast with the text. You will also notice less full page refreshes, which makes shopping and turning eBook pages lightning fast.

  1. The piece on eReaders not to be bought again caused me to wonder what a checklist for eReaders should look like. There might be several as in one for text-based fiction, one for eTextbooks and so on.
There might also be a checklist for compliance with what a format enables (.mobi, .kf8, ePub 2, ePub 3, etc.) which would be a different perspective than the capability of the eReader itself (navigation, adjustability [including accessibility], etc.), yet another checklist.
