What I don’t understand about the press release:
1)what ebook reader will the Nokia phones be able to read? And what cellphones/carriers will this be for?
2)Are they selling excerpts or selling entire books? I’m assuming that you can download sample chapters for free with the option of buying the whole book. How will the ebook manager control the memory use and how much is stored locally.
I’m guessing that hoping to add public domain ebooks via usb/bluetooth is a pipe dream.
Hi, Robert. I suspect it’ll be Mobipocket, based on previous info. Not sure about the other stuff. Would that I had the time to get more details. Agree re the importance of the public domain having a role. If the reader can do Mobipocket books in the PD, such as from Blackmask, then we might have a chance. Thanks. David
