Childrenselibrary.com, a source for children’s eBooks from major publishers, recently announced a non-exclusive distribution agreement with OverDrive that will bring the company’s collection of children’s eBook titles to nearly a thousand libraries in America.

These include New York Public Library, Seattle’s King County Library System, Cleveland Public Library, Denver Public Library and hundreds more.

The childrenselibrary catalog includes over 2,000 children’s eBooks from leading publishers and licensors, including hundreds of multimedia eBooks.

Among their titles are eBooks versions of works originally published in print by Bantam, Doubleday, Dell, Harper Collins, Penguin USA, Scholastic, and Little Brown.

Notable selections for early readers include beloved classics such as “The Wizard of Oz” (with photos from the MGM classic film), “The Brother’s Gruff” and “Eency Weency Spider”. There are also modern favorites like “Shrek” and “Barney”, and for teens, the graphic novels of Ray Bradbury, “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” and “The Restaurant at the End of the Universe”.
