The Proporta Beachbuoy Waterproof Nexus 7 Case was sent to me for review by the kind folks at Mobile Fun. They offered me my choice of Nexus or iPad Mini cases, and given that I stole the Beloved's book-style for my own purposes, I let him pick.

Mini-review: M-Edge Trench Runner iPad Jacket

M-Edge has been getting cleverer and cleverer as they get older. It's inspiring to see how a small business that started at a kitchen table can develop into a market leader!
They sent me a sample of their new Trench Runner Jacket for the iPad 2. It's made of weathered cotton canvas, in olive drab or German grey, and has genuine leather and brass fittings. Inspired, they say, by vintage military hardware. The iPad clips into a plastic shell on the right hand side of the case and is held securely.
It has the usual ability to act as a stand.

While I was engaging in a paroxysm of Amazon ordering activity for holiday presents, I happened to notice one of Amazon’s bargain deals was for an iPad case—the “Acase Premium Series Leather Slimline Carrying Case for Apple iPad 3G tablet/Wifi model 16GB, 32GB, 64GB (Black)”.
