“A short overview of the HanLin, Cybook, iLiad and iRex DR1000S eBook readers now available in Australia from DA.” – DAInfo Serv via MobileRead.
The TeleRead take: Anyone want to do so the same for us with different machines, such as the Kindle and the Sony Reader? E-mail Paul with the link or links.
It’s one way to give people a feel for, say, page-refresh rates in real life. Or help educate newbies.
Of course, I think it would be good if there were some audio commentary or matching texts or links to help flesh things out. And in fact, as an e-book seller, DaInfo offers a bit of that kind of thing, including this PDF matrix. But that’s hardly the whole e-book scene and offers a particular commercial perspective.
A project for some enterprising librarians or disinterested enthusiasts?
