Actually, this looks pretty interesting if you are a frequent traveller.  I especially like the fact that the light runs off the cover’s battery and not the Kindle’s.  Pricy, though.

Here’s the description from the Amazon blurb:

SolarKindle Lighted Cover- 3 month + unplugged power Keep Your Kindle Protected, Powered and Illuminated The first solar cover for the Amazon Kindle e-reader takes an environmentally friendly approach to enhancing form and utility. The SolarKindle Lighted Cover is designed to look smart and feel great in your hands without being bulky or heavy. The form-fitted cover keeps your Kindle safe while discretely adding functionality with a built-in solar panel that charges the reserve battery for the LED reading lamp in addition to providing extra power for the Kindle. Best of all, the reading lamp draws power from the reserve battery, not the Kindle, so you won’t have to worry about draining the Kindle’s battery. Have Light Whenever You Need It The cover’s built-in LED reading lamp is available whenever you need it, providing unparalleled coverage and illumination over the screen surface of the Kindle, reaching up to 800 lux. The reading lamp turns on automatically when released from its housing, and automatically turns off when pressed back into place, or when the Kindle goes into sleep mode. Most importantly, it only draws power from the reserve battery, never from the Kindle itself.
