According to a survey by UK copywriting agency Cooper Murphy Webb, the iPad was found to be the preferred method of reading newspapers and magazines for 31 percent of owners in the UK, with the number jumping to 41 percent for books.

Notebook and desktop computers came in second and dedicated ereaders were way behind in any category at all, falling behind smartphones, for example.
