I wasn’t aware that it was unavailable as an ebook, but Ebook Newser is reporting that it has been released. According to them: Fahrenheit 451 was originally published in 1953, in the past 60 years it has sold over 10 million copies and been translated into 33 languages.
Kind of surprising giving the authors statements about the possibilities of his books as eBooks in the past, I guess something changed his mind. $10 is kind of expensive though ($3 more than the paperback).
Releasing Fahrenheit 451 as an ebook is actually a good moment to bring back a discussion about limitations in access to books. Fire was a science-fiction. DRM is a reality.

I would guess that many participants in the publishing industry have or are in the process of changing their minds over many issues in these times of huge change.
