This is a completely new edition that includes finds made since the earlier 1952-54 edition. The new edition is directed towards an international readership so there, along with the original Dutch texts, is a new English translation as well. This translation took a team of 5 translators and an editor.

I’m afraid that I have a lot of reading ahead of me. There is also a 6 volume book edition which contains over 4,300 illustrations – every work to which Van Gogh is reproduced. Amazon US has it available for pre-order at US$ 480. I’ll read it online.
