Appadvice, the site that broke the $9.99 prices for bestsellers in the iBookstore, has reported that all those prices have now been increased to $12.99. No reasons given for the increase. Here’s the link. The site has some screenshots of the before and after pricing.
Thanks to Aaron Pressman for the heads up.

@Rich Adin called it!
There never was a $9.99 price. This was just an Apple ruse.

Typical. Rumour, speculation, and misdirection. And the usual Apple orchestrated “leaks” before a product release.
Until the iPad is officially released in the US (April 3rd) and the ‘iBookStore’ is “opened” none of that is official. I wouldn’t be surprised if the prices change back and forth several more times until then.
It’s all probably some subliminal Apple marketing test. (And they all do it, though Apple seems better at it right now than Microsoft.)
Or Apple is trying to catch some “leaker” in the minion ranks.
Not that I’m being cynical or anything…
