june-techblogs-custom18.jpgWarren Buckleitner took a look at this $60 ereader for kids ages 3 to 7 by V.Tech.

He tried it on two books and says that the pages turns were sluggish, the animation choppy and the activities too full of instructions. The reader comes with only one book, he says, and each additional book costs $20 – plus you have to buy your own batteries and your own, required, SD card.

Not a winner.
