New site up and running!!

Well, we’re up and running on the new site. Aside from the new look (which has been tested to death – I’m told) we have moved to a new, higher speed provider and have also significantly upgraded the servers. The site certainly seems much faster to me.
As to the future, we are working on adjusting the “Comments” box to add a few more, but be sure to click the “More comments” link at the bottom of the box to get a lot more of the latest comments.
If you find any bugs please leave a comment here so they can be squashed.

Is the switch from RSS full text feed to headlines intentional?
Following up to @paolo, if the switch is intentional, I’m unsubscribing from the RSS feed. I don’t read feeds that don’t include the post.

I like the new site a lot. I think you folks are the best source for staying up to date with the ebook world. And now you’re even better!

I also agree. If the partial feed is to try and get me to visit the web site… it’s not. It is just going to cause me to unsubscribe. I hope this was unintentional.

BUG REPORT
So far we’ve found bugs in the RSS feed and, also, something is stripping the paragraph marks out of some of the posts so that they become one, long unreadable block of text. Working on it.
Paul I hope that some of the suggestions submitted at the start of the last testing session are in the works.. such as enhanced text for comments and an easier captcha. It is very hard to quote etc with this format. Otherwise congrats on the new format and I hope this time it keeps going
Please put the summaries back! We’ll accept the absence of paragraphs. The title isn’t enough info to know if we want to go to the entire post.
Yeah, I second the idea of you looking into disqus. It’s just a plugin – two minutes to install.
I don’t see anything great about Disqus ? They use it on http://www.independent.co.uk and it doesn’t look anything special ? Is it tweakable and implemented better somewhere else ?
I like it and I especially like being able to open Teleread w/o having to reload. First time!

Just FYI, HTML does still work in these comments, and has for some time. For instance, I quoted the above using <blockquote>. It’s not really any harder than the square-brackets text emphasis methods in BBCode web bulletin boards.
Great perseverance, Paul. Glitches and difficult birth aside, this will keep you atop the ebook blogging pile for a long time yet!
