IU press has just joined the digital age. Here’s the description from their site.
IU Press Online offers a robust collection of electronic editions of Indiana University Press books and themed journal issues. Titles are organized into subject area collections for easy browsing, searching, and purchasing (see right for a listing of subject area collections) and are available for purchase as either full-text single titles or by a variety of subscriptions to individual collections, to any combination of collections, or to the full database. Accessible from any internet-connected computer or from handheld devices such as the iPhone, IU Press Online also offers a variety of viewing options, fast downloads, and page-specific URLs for convenient bookmarking, citing, and sharing (including on Delicious and Digg). Visit the Indiana University Press home site to purchase print versions of IU Press books and INscribe, the journals publishing platform, to purchase print copies of issues and to subscribe to any of our fine serials. You will use a separate shopping cart for print products.
According to Wired Campus:
The online portal is in its infancy, but it already offers more than 200 books and 75 themed journals from five subject areas: African studies; African-American and diaspora studies; Jewish and Holocaust studies; philosophy; and Russian, East European and Eurasian studies. The press plans to add books about music and religious studies over the summer. Ms. Caras said all the press’s titles will eventually show up on the site.
