HarperCollins released enhanced ebooks; will do simultaneous ebook releases

Publishers Weekly is reporting this. According to them HarperCollins strategy will be to release print editions, ebook editions and enhanced ebooks simultaneously.

This all comes about because HarperCollins is releasing three enhanced ebooks and plans to do at least 5 more in the coming months. The three enhanced ebooks are Getting the Pretty Back, God is Not One and Louder than Words. Louder, as an example, contains 22 in line videos that illustrate how to read and use nonverbal signals in business.

The enhanced ebooks will be priced at $14.99.
