According to Bloomberg they will be starting on September 26 and the iPad will be in all 1.093 stores. Their CEO said:
“We see the iPad as the magnificent shining light in what will become a whole new category, and that is tablets,” Dunn said. “In many cases, it’s an incremental device. In some cases, it’s a substitute device for netbooks. We think that’s going to stimulate a lot of customer interest.”
In a related story, Best Buy will also be reducing the amount of shelf space it allocates to DVDs and CDs, says Investors.com. In their place will be video games and in-store areas for people to try out ereaders and media tablets.
