Amazon cuts Kindle 2 price by $60

I don’t know when this happened, but I was just over at Amazon and I noticed that they have dropped the price of the Kindle 2 to $299. With more and more plain vanilla ereaders coming out of the woodwork maybe Amazon is beginning to feel a bit of price pressure. After all, it seems that we are reporting on a new unit every couple of weeks. It can only be a matter of time before we see more wireless units hitting the market. Maybe the AT&T announcement of their own ereader had a part in this
