FLOSS Manuals, which gathers volunteers to produce free, remixable manuals for free and open source software, has sent out its latest newsletter. You can read it online, but here are some of the big items from it.
- New social networking tools for collaborators, including Twitter-style micromessaging and integration with existing FLOSS workflow.
- New book tools for more efficient collaboration, including better tracking of changes, recent activity, and contributors.
- A partnership with Google’s Summer of Code that will lead to a forthcoming GSoC Documentation Camp, in order to further the development of a few projects that need a little extra push. Check back with FLOSS for more details as they determine how to proceed.
