libraryI came across this fantastic t-shirt yesterday—perhaps it’s because I have always been such a bookworm that a nice comfy shirt emblazoned with the public library logo so spoke to me. It cost a little more than I normally spend on t-shirts (which tend to be my bedtime wear of choice) but the Beloved encouraged me. Sometimes something speaks to to you, the Beloved reassured me. And when it does, it’s okay to splurge.

I felt a little better about the sticker shock when I learned that 10% of the proceeds would actually go to support the public library. And I had co-workers asking me all day where I got it, then wondering why a high-end department store boutique is doing the heavy lifting on this and the public library branches themselves aren’t stocking this item…

"I’m a journalist, a teacher and an e-book fiend. I work as a French teacher at a K-3 private school. I use drama, music, puppets, props and all manner of tech in my job, and I love it. I enjoy moving between all the classes and having a relationship with each child in the school. Kids are hilarious, and I enjoy watching them grow and learn. My current device of choice for reading is my Amazon Kindle Touch, but I have owned or used devices by Sony, Kobo, Aluratek and others. I also read on my tablet devices using the Kindle app, and I enjoy synching between them, so that I’m always up to date no matter where I am or what I have with me."
