Kindle Touch ereader, announced at the legendary Amazon conference on September 28, was due to ship on November 21, but Amazon apparently speeds up deliveries – which is a fantastic news for anyone who pre-ordered a device.

I ordered Touch on September 28 and just a moment ago received an email from Amazon:

We have good news!  We’re able to get this part of your order to you faster than we originally promised:

“Kindle Touch, Wi-Fi, 6″ E Ink Display”
Previous estimated arrival date: November 22, 2011
New estimated arrival date: November 16, 2011

Wow, it’s six days ahead of original shipment date! If you wanted to order a device today, you can expect shipping in 8 to 9 days (November 22 or 23).

I’m really excited about Kindle Touch. This is my first ereader ever. As a dedicated smartphone user I was waiting for a Kindle with a touchscreen. Never really considered a physical keyboard.

As soon as I’ll receive my lovely Kindle Touch, I’ll share a lot of posts and pictures about it, so stay tuned – get next articles by RSS or e-mail.
