About time the Australian government decided to do something about ebook prices – it’s only taken about 10,000 articles in the news, letters, blog posts to get them off their collective rear ends. The publishing/book selling industry in Australia enjoys a level of protection that our manufacturing industries would just love to have.

  2. Cool map. Apparently, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick are no longer part of Canada … and the US has ceded Alaska to some other nation …

    Class action suits in Canada have a pretty dismal history of success and I wouldn’t count on the ones mentioned here.
