Downloading from Dropbox isn't obvious but is easy when you know how.

Log in as you would on a desktop.
Navigate to the file you want to download.
Touch the icon at the right which is a filled downwards triangle in a circle.

You should now have a menu with a choice of share link or delete.
touch the Share Link and you get asked if you want to download .

Clap, clap! Well, done, Joanna--I love your mix of thoroughness, practicality and personal experiences. May TeleRead run a lot more reviews like this one! In the US people can use the page below to find local independent stores selling the Glo.

I have both the Glo & the Paperwhite. The Glo is a better gadget. The Kindle store is a better bookstore. Kobo really needs to add an Archive feature. I don't want all my books to download as happens on Kobo gadgets. I wonder though if the Kobo company / Indigo/ Chapters aren't responsible for blocking Amazon & B&N products from making a headway in Canada.

Nice review, Joanna. I appreaciate the comparison to your Kindle, and, while the Kobo Glo sounds great, I realize that the features you pointed out as missing on the Kobo vs the Kindle are features I woud not want to miss, so I feel ever better about the ecosystem I am invested in, although that was not really the point of our review :)

Nice comprehensive review. Living in the US, I had a relatively long wait until I was able to purchase one. But, now having one and having used it, I can say without reservation it was well worth the wait.
