By Paul Biba
From Nicolas Gary, Directeur de la rédaction, comes the following email: ” We just posted on ActuaLitté a test of the Bebook, by Endless Idea, called Bebook. For ebooks. Of course.”
You can find it on this page http://www.actualitte.com/dossiers/290-test-Bebook-lecteur-ebooks-livres.htm
Any of our French speaking readers care to do a translation or summary?

Hmm, the french version they received sounds oddly different from I have. They say it came with two Queen songs and a french ebook they suspect might be pirated? Curious.
They got at least two things wrong; the BeBook does in fact support SDHC cards (I have an 8GB in mine) and is not limited to 2GB, and they claim it doesn’t support EPUB when it does (as long as it is DRM-free.)
My french is barnacle-encrusted by now, but if I read the tone right they, surprisingly, seem most fondly impressed by the landscaped zoomed mode. (???)
(Go figure.)
Not much in the review you can’t get off the website.
I might not be able to do a translation but I did write my own review of the BeBook (in English) over at PG-News.org;
