Sony PRS-300 Pocket Edition Reader gets a thumbs-up from Charles Stross, the sci-fi novelist

Charles Strosss, the sci-fi novelist, is down on the Kindle’s wireless because, among other things, he thinks it’s a battery killer. A little unfair. You can just turn the sucker off.
Here’s what he does like—the Sony PRS-300 Pocket Reader, which he enjoys as a no-frills gizmo. Stross is also a fan of Calibre e-book management software.
What he continues to hate: DRM and long copyright terms. He has compared certain members of the entertainment industry to Mafiosi.
