samsung-papyrus Slashdot links to a story on the Samsung Papyrus, an e-ink touchscreen reader that will be hitting Korea in June and probably the UK and North America a few months later. There is not much more information here than the last time we mentioned the Papyrus; a $299 suggested retail price, 512-megabyte internal memory, organizer functions, and a touchscreen. No keyboard or wireless, however.

There is no information on which formats and/or DRM the Papyrus will support. Odds are it will support at least one DRMed format, given the widespread use of DRM in the e-publishing industry to date. At $50 cheaper than the Sony and Kindle, it is slightly more attractive on price—but the lack of wireless capability may cancel out that advantage.
