"Prices for 7-inch LCD panels are dropping fast as suppliers gear up their shipments to the segment amid a rosy outlook for low-cost notebooks, with some low-end analog segments seeing their prices already coming close to US$20, industry sources were cited by the Chinese-language Apple Daily newspaper as saying." – DigiTimes.

mm… this sounds tasty. I wouldn’t mind upgrading from my tiny 160 x 160 pixel Palm screen to something more readable, and yet I can’t find the money worth dropping on one of those fancy eInk toys. A cheap LCD screen is one thing I dream of in a reader.
