ODT2ePub just sent me an email announcing the release of their new web based tool. According to the tool it includes custom and standard paragraph styles and character styles, bulleted and numbered lists, tables, pictures, page breaks, cross references, footnotes. They plan support for margins and tables of contents. The tool can do custom metadata to replace the original ODT metadata in the output.
There’s a lot more information on their website. Pricing is 4€ per conversion and they say that you pay only if you are satisfied with the ePub output.

And send my private documents over the internet? I don’t think so.
There is a plugin for OOo in development at MobileRead which will ‘save to epub’ without all the hassle of web-based services and will be free.
