JoinTech tablet ereader

JoinTech is advertising a Windows CE tablet with a 7 inch LCD screen. It uses a 400 MHz processor and has 64MB of onboard ram and 128MB flash storage. It also can support SD cards up to 16GB. The ebook formats it will support are: txt, pdf, word, rtf, jbk, html, flash, eReader, MobiPocket, CH, cbr and cbz. Unfortunately is only has a 3 to 6 hour battery life. No pricing or distribution is mentioned on the JoinTech website.
The device looks interesting, and running Windows CE it is really just a PDA with a larger touchscreen/touchscreen software overlay. The battery life, however, makes it a poor choice for an ebook reader. Thanks to Dr. Ellen Hage for the heads up.

They also offer the JE100 with the same OS and screen size, so I’m not sure of the difference between them; maybe onboard storage size?
the 100 sells for $250 and the 200 for $399.
I wish they used Android or Ubuntu Nebtook Remix, or Moblin, rather than WinCE 5.0 … that’s awfully old in tech terms.
