According to the Wall Street Journal, HarperCollins wants to make ebooks available for the supposed new Apple tablet. The article says that HarperCollins will set the ebook prices, that the ebooks will have added features and that Apple will take a percentage of sales. It is unknown whether sales will be made through the iTunes store or through a separate ebook store.
HarperCollins os one of the publishers that are holding back ebook releases so it will be interesting to see how they play this out.
