Project Gutenberg is one of the Net’s gems, but all too often flame wars break out on the list for volunteers.

To the rescue comes a new moderated list, a virtual lounge for the civil.

Separately, another new list has started—for Distributed Proofreaders volunteers with “a passion for proofing and motherhood.”
