imageAn Archos Internet Media Tablet will be unveiled September 15 with a five-inch screen and 800-by-480 resolution. Imagine FBRreader running on it. Plus, there’ll be a HDTV output via HDMI. Storage options will be up to 500GB.

The announcement was expected, but it’s still good to see confirmation, given the need for alternatives to Apple tablets without all those nasty gotchas that Steve J and friends love to inflict on us.
