E-book possibilities for new WordPress feature that scans for similar posts?

A new WordPress plug-in will soon let readers instantly scan for a blog’s other entries on the same topic or in the same context. It’s a bit like Sphere. In fact, along the way, you’ll be able to scan other WordPress blogs, says WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg, quoted in Webware.
So here’s The Angle for e-books. Could similar capabilities be embedded at all levels within a book—either the whole thing, a chapter or a paragraph? Just how accurate and helpful could such capabilities be? And would publishers cooperate in exposing short sections of the destination books to visitors, without trying to limit fair use? Needless to say, such an approach could fit in well with digitization projects such as Google’s.

Question: I’ll be restoring the TeleBlog’s Sphere capabilities in a moment. Were you using them when we offered them earlier? Unless Sphere has fans, I may remove them again to keep access fast. Earlier I had problems with slowdowns; let’s hope the new plug-in won’t create them.

You have got to be kidding me!
I just earlier today went onto the WP support forum to scream about this feature.
I had no bloody idea it was doing that to my blog until I accidentally tripped across it today.
Other bloggers are up in arms over it too.

I do NOT want some damned algorithm choosing and them insinuating other posts I’ve never read into my posts!
