DT 375 Tip: Reading same books on PDAs with smaller card slots

Check out Man Ching’s just-posted message about the use of Mobipocket and a PCMCIA adapter—so you enjoy the same books on your PDA as on your DT 375 without losing your bookmarks.
Related: Earlier TeleBlog items on the DT 375, now on sale as a reburb for $155 at uBid. If you want an inexpensive tablet for e-books—offering an eight-inch screen—this might be a great choice. Also see DT375.com. I myself own one and use it with uBook to enjoy almost E Ink-sharp fonts on the LCD. uBook offers font-smoothing.
Status of Nokia N800 review: Still hoping for today, perhaps tonight. I’ve been unavoidably sidetracked, alas.

Interesting. I had a solution to all of my ebook problems land unexpectedly in my lap in the form of a Fujitsu Lifebook Tablet PC. Nothing I would ever buy myself since these things are very expensive considering its just a 12″ laptop, but its nice because not only can I run Mobipocket like I’ve always wanted, but can switch to comic book reading software in full color and PDF as well
Its way on the heavy side, but that’s a small price to pay for the flexibility. Some people would also probably have issues with the battery life, but I’m pretty much desk-bound so I’m rarely more than an hour or two from power.
