Direct Feedbooks downloads for Kindle and iLiad owners: iPod-simple for pub domain and Creative Commons books?

We’ve added a few things recently, that makes it very easy for Kindle and iLiad users to download content directly for their devices.
First of all, the Kindle. While we’re working on a full mobile website for this device, we created a download guide for it. Basically, you just need to add this file on your device, and then you can easily flip through pages, or search for a keyword in order to find a book you’d like to download. Click on the link and that’s it—the book is on your device. It’s a bit like a library access on your Kindle. Check the MobileRead topic.
For the iLiad, we’ve just released the first test version of our application: iNewsStand: It’s purely for testing purposes for the moment but it works very well already. Through this application, you can easily download feeds or books on your iLiad.
Meanwhile here’s a video on YouTube; we’ll do a real demo once we’re past the first testing phases.
Available formats: PDF, epub and Mobipocket.

Creative Commons is a suite of such a wide variety of licenses that it’s almost always a bad idea to batch them together with one term. With some CC licenses you can do almost anything with the licensed work, with others you can do almost nothing.
Thanks for your thoughts here, Marcus. I think that in the e-book world, regular readers associate CC with free (at least for noncommercial use). The intent here was to show that Feedbooks didn’t just have classics. But you are right that with CC licenses, copyright owners can do just about any bleepin’ thing they want with their works. By the way, have you tried the download guide on your Nokia David ?
It should work just fine with FBReader and a connected device.
Sub-optimal compared to a built in feature, but still a neat way to download books.
