How much will it sell for—maybe under $600?—and how well will it sell? And will it be more than a niche product? Translation: Will more than Apple fan boys, geeks and e-book-lovers buy it?

As summed up by Elmer-DeWitt, a senior analyst at Piper Jaffray thinks that the new tablet could “in fact sell 2 million units at $600 each to generate $1.2 billion and add about 3% to Apple’s revenue stream in calendar 2010.”
