With the intro of the K2, used Kindles are going for as little as $250. Enough of the $350 prices for already-owned Kindles!
I’m not in any hurry and will probably wait until the price falls to $199 or lower. I’d pay more if the Kindle weren’t so DRMcentric.

And you can get used PDA’s for $50.00 or less! Smaller screen, but still a viable book gadget.
Ennh. DeCoster doesn’t actually know that much about the Kindle if she thinks you can’t surf the web on it. Plus she’s comparing the price of a Kindle *with* web access to a netbook *without* web access. Once she pays for whichever form of wireless connection she’s going to use with that netbook, it will be a lot more money, I think.
Mind you, netbooks can do things Kindles just can’t. If color pictures or watching movies is important to you, a Kindle is not your gadget.
