Because it pulls from Ingram, self-published books don't seem to be in the system. My non-fiction book (published by a small press) is there. My fiction (self-pubbed) is not. And I checked for Wool, a highly regarded self-pubbed book. Nope, not there. It'll be there when it's reissued by Random House, though. That's good to know. I didn't really play with it yet, but I installed it, and for some reason it thinks I'm obsessed with Central America. If you are a voracious reader, first you have to get through the recommendations of books you already own to get to stuff you haven't yet read. But, it's now recommending books I've never heard of and that look interesting. Umm, ignore all my previous comments on posts mentioning that I like brick and mortar discovery. This app may have just changed my habits. Ok, it’s kind of cool. I just installed it, and yes, you can waste far too much time liking and organizing books.
