From AfterDawn: The latest Apple rumor today from multiple Internet sources is that the company has scheduled an event for the week of September 7th, most likely to announce a new iPod Touch as well as iTunes 9 and “Cocktail“. Apple normally holds an event after Labor Day, normally to launch updated iPods and iTunes software so the date does not seem to far out of the ordinary. The expected iPod Touch revision will add a camera and a mic, as well as video recording and editing software. The event would also put Steve Jobs back in the spotlight for a keynote address, his first since returning to work after a 2009 liver transplant.
