No good. Barack Obama wants an RIAA-loved attorney and a second lawyer, a past defender of the Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act, to get top Justice Department posts. Details from CNET, via Very Interesting People.

Please, Barack. Reconsider. Or at least reassure us you’ll come out against copyright gouges and align your Justice Department accordingly, despite the lawyers’ past offenses.
