Nokia 770 Arstechnica review (via MobileRead)…New FontSmoother release (MobileRead)…Fair use under attack (LISNews)…HarperCollins Plans to Control Its Digital Books (Wall Street Journal). Google’s been baaaaad, so HarperCollins will lock up its books on its own server and in time sell to consumers on a pay-per-view basis. “The material won’t be downloadable, and authors will participate in the proceeds.” As if e-books aren’t hard enough to use already. Up with sales, down with sadism!
